Madinah:Doha The State of Qatar has issued a strong condemnation of the recent attempt by Yemen's Houthi group to target Madinah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a ballistic missile. The act has been described by Qatar as a blatant provocation of Muslims, a reckless disregard for civilian lives, a violation of Saudi sovereignty, and a breach of international law.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement on Thursday reaffirming Qatar's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia. The statement expressed support for all legitimate measures that the Kingdom may take to safeguard its sovereignty, security, territorial integrity, and interests.
The statement further emphasized that the security of Saudi Arabia is integral to Qatar's security and the collective security of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
