DOHA: The State of Qatar has issued a statement condemning a recent car-ramming incident in New Orleans, United States, which led to multiple fatalities and injuries. The incident has drawn international attention, prompting Qatar to express its firm rejection of violence and terrorism.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement on Wednesday, emphasizing Qatar’s consistent stance against violence, terrorism, and criminal activities, irrespective of the underlying motives. The ministry extended condolences to the families affected by the tragedy, as well as to the government and citizens of the United States. Additionally, Qatar expressed hopes for the swift recovery of those injured in the incident.
