Post: Qatar Condemns Renewed Iranian Attacks on Jordan and UAE

Doha: The State of Qatar has strongly condemned renewed Iranian attacks targeting Jordan with missiles and the United Arab Emirates with a drone.

According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on Monday that the attacks were a serious violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the two countries, as well as a breach of international law and the United Nations Charter. The ministry emphasized that these actions by the Islamic Republic of Iran represented a dangerous escalation that could complicate de-escalation efforts and undermine diplomatic and political initiatives aimed at restoring security and stability in the region.

The State of Qatar has called for an immediate and complete halt to all military actions and attacks that threaten regional security. It urged all parties involved to avoid steps that could potentially widen the conflict. Furthermore, Qatar stressed the importance of a serious return to dialogue and negotiations, alongside adherence to understandings reached through diplomatic efforts.

In its statement, Doha reaffirmed its full solidarity with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the UAE, expressing support for the measures taken by both countries to protect their sovereignty and security.
