Qatar Cycling Club’s “Cycles” Team Crowned Champions of GBI Charity Tour in Germany

Doha: Qatar Cycling Club's "Cycles" Team has been crowned champions of the GBI Europe 2026 Charity Cycling Tour in Germany for the second consecutive year.

According to Qatar News Agency, the initiative is one of the world's leading charitable sporting events, designed to support global charitable projects by engaging participants in fundraising efforts for humanitarian and development initiatives in their respective home countries. The team participated under the slogan "From Qatar to Europe. We Cycle Goodness by Bicycle," emphasizing the use of sport to serve society and promote a culture of charitable and volunteer work globally.

The tour saw hundreds of cyclists from various nationalities and cultures set off from Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, and cycle to Dsseldorf, Germany, the home of the Global Biking Initiative. This journey combined physical endurance with charitable involvement, offering a unique blend of sporting and humanitarian experiences.
