Riyadh:The State of Qatar participated in the 16th session of the Arab Ministerial Council for Electricity, held in the Saudi capital as part of Riyadh Energy Week.
According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar's delegation was led by the Minister of State for Energy Affairs, Engineer Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi.
The meeting focused on enhancing regional cooperation in the electricity sector, exchanging expertise, and discussing investment projects and modern technologies to develop the Arab energy infrastructure. The ministers also reviewed reports on renewable energy, energy efficiency, a common Arab electricity market, and the peaceful use of nuclear energy for electricity generation and seawater desalination.
