The sixth meeting of the informal human rights dialogue between the State of Qatar and the European External Action Service was held in Brussels today. The State of Qatar's delegation to the meeting was headed by HE Acting Director of the Human Rights Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Reem bint Ali Ibrahim Al Derham, while the European Union delegation was headed by HE Head of Division Arabian Peninsula and Iraq for the European External Action Service Anna Maria Panagiotakopoulou. The meeting dealt with a number of issues of joint interest, particularly combatting human trafficking and digital rights. HE Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki, who is the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the European Union and NATO, participated in the meeting along with representatives of a number of government agencies in the state.
