Doha: Upon the directives of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, an air bridge has been launched to the friendly Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, carrying a team from the Qatari International Search and Rescue Group, of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya). This initiative is part of Qatar's efforts to provide aid after the recent earthquakes in Venezuela.
According to Qatar News Agency, this air bridge is a contribution to the international community's efforts to rescue those affected by the two earthquakes that recently struck Venezuela. The Qatari team comprises internationally certified search and rescue specialists, medical personnel, and a field hospital, along with advanced equipment to support rescue operations in the disaster-stricken areas.
