Qatar National Bank Announces Updated Deposit Rates Across Multiple Currencies

Doha: Deposit rates at opening as issued on Wednesday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) are as following:

According to Qatar News Agency, the latest figures show that deposit rates for various international currencies, including USD, JPY, CHF, and GBP, have been updated. For USD, the rates are 3.67434% for 1 month, 3.67246% for 2 months, 3.67057% for 3 months, 3.63486% for 6 months, and 3.52148% for 12 months. The rates for JPY are 0.60000% for 1 and 2 months, increasing to 0.65000% for 3 months, 0.70000% for 6 months, and reaching 1.01000% for 12 months. CHF deposit rates start at -0.12000% for 1 month and fluctuate to -0.17000% for 3 months and -0.01000% for 6 months, before settling at -0.04000% for 12 months. GBP rates are 3.63000% for 1 month, 3.70000% for 2 months, 3.78000% for both 3 and 6 months, and 3.90000% for 12 months.

For local and regional currencies such as QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD, the deposit rates also vary. QAR rates begin at 4.05000% for 1 month, decreasing to 3.75000% for 12 months. SAR rates are 4.50000% for 1 month, falling to 4.30000% from 2 months onwards. AED rates range from 2.05000% for 1 month to 3.15000% for 12 months. BHD rates start at 4.60000% for 1 month, gradually decreasing to 4.10000% for 12 months. These rates reflect the current market trends and economic conditions impacting the financial sector in Qatar and beyond.
