Doha:Deposit rates at opening have been issued by Qatar National Bank (QNB) on Monday, detailing rates for various currencies over different maturities.
According to Qatar News Agency, the rates for the US Dollar (USD) start at 3.91211% for one month, increasing to 4.48250% for a twelve-month term. For the Japanese Yen (JPY), rates remain consistent at 1.20000% for one to three months, rising slightly to 1.75000% for twelve months.
For the Swiss Franc (CHF), the rates start at -0.21000% for one month and shift to a positive 0.30000% for twelve months. The British Pound (GBP) rates begin at 3.75000% for one month and climb to 4.76000% for a twelve-month deposit.
In terms of regional currencies, the Qatari Riyal (QAR) has a one-month rate of 4.33403%, increasing to 4.69083% for a twelve-month deposit. The Saudi Riyal (SAR) starts at 4.45000% for one month and moves to 4.85000% for twelve months. The United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) begins at 2.05000% for one month, rising to 3.15000% for twelve months. Lastly, the Bahraini Dinar (BHD) starts at 4.85000% for a one-month deposit, reaching 5.52000% over a twelve-month period.
