Qatar National Bank Releases Updated Deposit Rates Across Currencies

Doha: Qatar National Bank (QNB) has announced the latest deposit rates for various currencies, effective from Tuesday. The rates reflect the bank's current offerings for different tenures ranging from one month to twelve months.

According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for the US Dollar (USD) start at 3.67788% for a one-month term and decrease to 3.47612% for a twelve-month period. The Japanese Yen (JPY) rates remain consistent at 0.60000% for one and two months, increasing slightly to 0.82000% for a twelve-month deposit. The Swiss Franc (CHF) presents a negative rate beginning at -0.15000% for a one-month term and marginally improving to 0.04000% over twelve months. Meanwhile, the British Pound (GBP) sees an increase from 3.79000% for one month to 3.95000% for a year-long deposit.

The Qatari Riyal (QAR) deposit rates are set at 4.05000% for one month, gradually decreasing to 3.75000% for a twelve-month period. Rates for the Saudi Riyal (SAR) start at 4.50000% for a one-month deposit and stabilize at 4.30000% for terms beyond two months. The United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) offers an initial rate of 2.05000% for one month, with the highest rate of 3.15000% for a twelve-month deposit. The Bahraini Dinar (BHD) provides a rate of 4.51000% for one month, slightly decreasing to 4.40000% for a twelve-month term.
