Doha: Deposit rates for various currencies have been updated and released by Qatar National Bank (QNB) as of Wednesday. The newly issued rates cover a range of currencies and maturities, providing insights into the current financial landscape.

According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for the US Dollar (USD) start at 3.68019% for one month, slightly decreasing to 3.49937% for a twelve-month term. The Japanese Yen (JPY) shows a consistent rate of 0.60000% for one and two months, increasing slightly to 0.85000% for twelve months. The Swiss Franc (CHF) rates are negative for shorter terms, with -0.15000% for one month and improving to 0.04000% for twelve months. The British Pound (GBP) starts at 3.81000% for one month and rises to 3.97000% for a twelve-month deposit.

The Qatari Riyal (QAR) sees a rate of 4.05000% for one to three months, slightly decreasing to 3.75000% for twelve months. The Saudi Riyal (SAR) maintains a rate of 4.50000% for one month and settles at 4.30000% for twelve months. The United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) starts at 2.05000% for one month, increasing to 3.15000% for a twelve-month term. Lastly, the Bahraini Dinar (BHD) opens at 4.52000% for one month and decreases to 4.36000% for a twelve-month deposit.

The updated rates reflect the current economic conditions and provide depositors with a range of options for their investments in various currencies.
