Doha: Qatar News Agency (QNA) held a ceremony at its official headquarters to celebrate its golden jubilee, marking the 50th anniversary of its establishment in 1975.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the ceremony, the Director-General of QNA, Ahmed bin Saeed Al Rumaihi, honored the heads of departments and veteran employees. This gesture was in appreciation of their ongoing efforts and contributions to enhancing QNA's status and strengthening its presence in the Gulf, Arab, and international arenas.
This event celebrated the accomplishments of Qatar News Agency over five decades, during which it has distinguished itself and become one of the leading media and news institutions regionally and internationally. The agency is recognized for the accuracy and credibility of its news and digital content.
The ceremony also highlighted QNA's distinguished journey over the past decades, during which it has adapted to rapid media changes. The agency has achieved a qualitative leap in news production by developing its technical tools and editorial content to align with international media standards.
