Amman:The 25th Amman International Book Fair kicks off on Thursday, marking its Silver Jubilee with the participation of the State of Qatar.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Culture, along with several Qatari publishing houses, will represent Qatar at the event, which also features broad Arab and international participation. This participation is part of Qatar's ongoing engagement in Arab cultural events and exhibitions.
The fair underscores the historic relations between Qatar and Jordan, offering a platform to strengthen bilateral cultural ties and allowing Jordanian readers to explore Qatari publications and cultural experiences.
The event will be held at multiple venues, including the Jordan International Exhibition Center (Mecca Mall), the Royal Cultural Center, and the National Library of Jordan. It will run until October 3 and feature around 60 events, including seminars, poetry and storytelling evenings, dialogue sessions, workshops, and documentary screenings.
