Qatar Participates in GCC Joint Meeting to Discuss Strategic Storage and Supply Systems

Doha: The State of Qatar participated on Sunday in the extraordinary joint meeting of the Commercial Cooperation Committee and the Industrial Cooperation Committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), which was held via videoconference. His Excellency the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al-Thani, led the Qatari delegation at the meeting.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting was attended by Their Excellencies the Ministers of Commerce and Industry from the GCC states, along with the GCC Secretary-General. The main discussions centered around the agenda topics, with a significant focus on the establishment of strategic storage zones and the development of a joint Gulf system for food and other essential supplies. The meeting aimed to make appropriate decisions and recommendations regarding these critical issues.
