Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index experienced a decline in its latest trading session, dropping by 47.18 points, or 0.42 percent, to close at 11,174.88 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 177,425,825 shares exchanged hands, amounting to a value of QR 468,269,186.980. These transactions were carried out through 23,611 trades across all sectors, reflecting the day's market activity.
By the end of the session, 21 companies registered an increase in their share prices, whereas 26 companies saw their shares decrease. Meanwhile, four companies' shares remained unchanged from their previous closing prices. The market capitalization at the close of the trading session was recorded at QR 669,045,734,246.060, a decrease from QR 674,282,525,318.570 noted in the previous session.
