Doha:The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) Index started Tuesday's trading session with a slight decline, dropping 1.70 points, or 0.02%, to reach 9,283 points. This decrease was influenced by losses in two sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Real Estate sector showed a positive performance with a gain of 0.69%, followed by Transport at 0.26%, Insurance at 0.20%, Consumer Goods and Services at 0.13%, and Telecoms at 0.09%. Conversely, the Banks and Financial Services sector saw a decrease of 0.16%, and the Industrials sector fell by 0.07%.
By 10:00 am, trading activity on the QSE amounted to QR 54.310 million. A total of 25,168 million shares were exchanged through 2,792 transactions.
