Doha:The Qatar Stock Exchange Index closed lower on Sunday, experiencing a decrease of 6.81 points, or 0.07 percent, to settle at 9,185.43.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 140,454,142 shares were traded during the session, with the trading value reaching QR 257,351,048.104 through 14,155 transactions across all sectors.
In the session, shares of 21 companies saw gains, while 27 companies recorded losses. Five companies remained unchanged from their previous closing prices.
The market capitalization at the end of the session was QR 556,985,360,051.536, which is an increase compared to QR 556,451,178,619.448 in the previous session.
