Doha:Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index experienced a notable increase on Sunday, closing higher by 424.30 points, or 4.64 percent, to reach 9,575.48.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading volume hit 410,577,159 shares, with a total turnover amounting to QAR 1,074,753,235.934 through 59,961 transactions across all sectors.
The session saw the advancement of shares from 48 companies, while five companies experienced a decline, and one company maintained its previous closing price. The market capitalization rose to QAR 579,925,578,400.300 at the end of trading, up from QAR 556,034,987,010.118 in the previous session.
