Doha:The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) Index began Sunday's trading session with a decline of 16.43 points, or 0.18%, settling at 9175 points. This drop was influenced by losses in four sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, the sectors contributing positively included Industrials, which rose by 0.47%, Insurance by 0.29%, and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.12%. In contrast, negative performances were recorded in Banks and Financial Services, which fell by 0.30%, Transport by 0.75%, Telecoms by 0.86%, and Real Estate by 0.98%.
By 10:00 am, the trading volume on QSE amounted to QR 44.180 million, with 25,353 million shares being exchanged through 2829 transactions.
