Qatar Stock Exchange Sees Decline as Index Falls by 41.20 Points

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange index closed lower on Wednesday, recording a decline of 41.20 points, or 0.37 percent, to conclude the trading session at 11,142.37.

According to Qatar News Agency, the session witnessed a total of 134,270,919 shares being traded, resulting in a turnover of QR 401,919,591.195 across 30,365 transactions that spanned all sectors. In terms of individual company performance, shares of 18 companies saw an increase, while 31 experienced a decline. Meanwhile, two companies maintained their previous closing prices.

The market capitalization at the end of the trading day stood at QR 664,851,227,900.110, reflecting a decrease from the previous session's total of QR 668,343,522,460.039.
