Doha: Qatar Athletics Federation announced that national standouts Abderrahman Samba and Bassem Hemeida will contest the 400m hurdles at the World Athletics Ultimate Championship in Budapest from September 11 to 13.
According to Qatar News Agency, Samba carries a season-best 47.77 seconds from the Diamond League into Saturday's race, alongside Hemeida, who clocked 47.56 in Switzerland.
The premier competition serves as final preparation for next week's 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, where both will also anchor Qatar's 4x400m relay squad alongside Ammar Ibrahim and Ashraf Hussen.
