According to Qatar News Agency, Al-Raya newspaper emphasized that Qatar has established an advanced model for institution-building, supporting its competitiveness on a global scale. The Qatar International Court stands at the forefront, advancing the judicial system and rule of law, thus becoming a significant institution of justice. Since its inception, the Court has not only adjudicated disputes but also contributed to the evolution of legal thought, justice principles, and the rule of law in Qatar. This has fostered a reliable legal framework for investors, thereby enhancing institutional stability and attracting capital.
The growth witnessed by the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) further underscores this development, with over 4,700 companies registered by 2026 and contributing 2.2 percent of Qatar's GDP. The Qatar International Court's influence extends globally, contributing to the Standing International Forum of Commercial Courts, comprising over 50 international courts.
Al-Watan newspaper highlighted Qatar's achievement in the standard of living index, ranking first in the Middle East and North Africa and fourth globally in the 2026 Legatum Prosperity Index. This ranking reflects continued improvements in quality of life for both citizens and residents. The country's eighth-place ranking in the development index, measured by living standards, health, and education, showcases its progress in infrastructure for essential services.
The newspaper noted that these achievements align with the Third National Development Strategy 2024-2030, part of Qatar National Vision 2030, focusing on social and human development.
