Qatari League: Al Ahli SC Extends Abdelrahman Fahmy’s Contract for One Season on Loan from Al Duhail SC

Doha: Al Ahli SC announced Wednesday the extension of the contract of first-team player Abdelrahman Fahmy for one season on loan from Al Duhail Club. According to Qatar News Agency, Al Ahli stated on its official social media accounts that Abdelrahman Fahmy signed a contract to continue with the club for another season, ending in the summer of 2026. The club highlighted Fahmy's significant value in the attacking midfield and right-wing positions. The statement also mentioned that Fahmy is considered an integral part of the team's project for the next stage, where it will represent Qatari football in the 2025-2026 AFC Champions League. His continuation with Al Ahli was made possible after the approval of the Al Duhail Club management, which owns the player's contract. Abdelrahman Fahmy has been one of Al Ahli's standout players during the previous season and those before it. His impressive performances with Al Ahli have earned him a place in the Qatari national football team squad, and he has also played fo r the Olympic team. Al Ahli is set to begin their matches in the new sports season on August 14, with a match against Al Shamal Club in the first round of the Qatar Football League (Doha Bank Stars).
