Al-Arab newspaper said in its editorial that over the past decades, the State of Qatar has proven to be an active and influential partner in supporting the goals of the United Nations by promoting international peace, security, and sustainable development. Since its accession to the United Nations in 1971, Qatar has committed to a leading role in cooperation with various UN organizations, surpassing its geographical boundaries to become a key player on the global stage.

The newspaper highlighted the partnership between Qatar and United Nations organizations, which demonstrates a steadfast commitment to achieving shared goals, such as combating poverty, providing education and healthcare, and responding to humanitarian crises in conflict zones. It pointed out that Qatar has not only provided substantial financial support to these organizations but has also taken the lead in hosting international conferences and initiatives aimed at promoting dialogue and conflict resolution, making it an important diplomatic
hub.

The newspaper concluded by saying that Qatars enduring commitment to the values of global peace and security is reflected in its continuous support for international organizations and its investments in peace and development projects. This partnership between Qatar and the United Nations enhances its significant influence on the international stage and reaffirms its ability to bring about positive change that benefits all of humanity.

For its part, The Peninsula newspaper said that in the spirit of Qatar’s s belief in the importance of the strategic partnership with the United Nations, it is keen to contribute actively to the efforts by the international community to maintain international peace and security, support the development process, in addition to the promotion of human rights, humanitarian assistance, and participation in collective action to address existing and emerging challenges facing the world.

The newspaper said in its editorial titled “Qatars Commitment to Global Peace” that Qatar is
omnipresent in most of the United Nations activities and in regional and international groups working to find solutions to regional and international crises, conflict prevention, peacekeeping and post-conflict peace-building.

In another matter, Al-Watan newspaper condemned in its editorial the Israeli occupation forces’ raid on Al Jazeera’s office in Ramallah and its 45-day closure under a military order. The forces confiscated all the offices equipment and documents, prohibited its staff from using their vehicles, and stopped the channel’s broadcast, amid an unprecedented escalation, particularly affecting Gaza and Lebanese territories.

The newspaper said that Israel is pushing matters with Lebanon to the brink of a major explosion through its unprecedented escalation of airstrikes
. This is sheer madness aimed at provoking a new war, as if the occupation’s actions in Gaza were not enough to satisfy its deep-seated urge for killing and destruction.

Al-Watan concluded by saying that closing Al Jazeeras office in Ramallah falls within the framework of all these developments, by targeting the voice of truth in the hope of hiding it.
