Hanoi:Qatari newspapers have recently focused their editorials on several key local and international issues, particularly emphasizing the Ministry of Justice's launch of a new website for the Official Gazette and the Al Meezan Legal Portal. They stressed that the security of Saudi Arabia is intrinsically linked to Qatar's security and the broader security framework of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
Al-Raya newspaper highlighted Qatar's ongoing efforts to expand public legal awareness and provide better access to legal information. These initiatives aim to improve individuals' understanding of their legal rights and obligations, thereby promoting respect for and adherence to the law.
The paper further noted that the enhanced Al Meezan Legal Portal is a crucial step in evolving the legislative and legal system while embracing digital transformation in alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030. The Minister of Justice stated, "the law belongs to everyone, and that access to it is a right, not a privilege," underscoring Qatar's commitment to democratizing legal knowledge.
In a related editorial, Al-Sharq newspaper remarked that the launch of these digital platforms represents a substantial advancement in Qatari legal content. The integrated digital system ensures the reliability of legislative texts and enhances search and classification capabilities through AI, maintaining the official text as the authoritative source.
