Baghdad: The Referees Committee of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) has appointed a Qatari officiating team, led by international referee Salman Ahmed Falahi, to oversee the final match of the Iraq FA Cup.
According to Qatar News Agency, this decision follows an official invitation from the Referees Committee of the Iraq Football Association. The anticipated match, featuring Zakho against Duhok, is scheduled for Friday at Baghdad's Al Shaab stadium.
The Qatari refereeing team comprises Salman Ahmad Falahi as the main referee, Ramzan Saeed Al Nuaimi as the first assistant referee, Majid Hadees Al Shammari as the second assistant referee, and Mishari Ali Al Shamri serving as the Video Assistant Referee.
This assignment represents the ongoing cooperation between the Qatari and Iraqi football associations. It also underscores the competence and preparedness of Qatari referees to manage key tournaments within the region.
