Doha: Qatar Foundation (QF) has unveiled a new online space designed to consolidate and expand access to the diverse arts landscape within Education City. The initiative aims to inspire learning and deepen understanding by embedding the arts across galleries, public spaces, academic institutions, and everyday experiences.
According to Qatar News Agency, the newly launched online platform serves as a comprehensive portal that showcases QF's extensive ecosystem of public artworks, tours, initiatives, and learning resources. It features works by Qatari, Arab, and international artists, making these artistic expressions easily accessible through a single destination.
Ameera M. Al-Aji, Community Arts Lead at Qatar Foundation, highlighted the significance of the platform in aligning with QF's mission to create a holistic, human-centered education and community development model. Al-Aji emphasized that the arts are integral to fostering creativity, critical thinking, empathy, and cultural awareness, which are crucial for innovation and leadership.
Al-Aji further explained that the platform serves as a unified entry point for students, staff, and visitors, facilitating the discovery of artworks, cultural narratives, tours, and learning resources. This initiative enhances engagement, encourages exploration, and eliminates barriers to access, allowing culture to be experienced in diverse ways.
