Doha: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) Awards Board has announced the final nominees for the 2025-26 season after completing voting, auditing, and ratification.
According to Qatar News Agency, shortlisted for Best Player are Roger Guedes from Al Rayyan, Akram Afif from Al Sadd, and Baghdad Bounedjah from Al Shamal. The nominees for Best Coach include David Prats from Al Shamal, Vicente Moreno from Al Rayyan, and Roberto Mancini from Al Sadd.
For the Best Goalkeeper category, the nominees are Jassim Al Hail from Al Arabi, Mahmoud Abunada from Al Rayyan, and Meshaal Barsham from Al Sadd. The Best U-23 Player shortlist features Mubarak Shanan from Al Duhail, Ayoub Al Alawi from Al Gharafa, and Mohammed Mannaei from Al Shamal.
The Mansour Muftah Top Scorer Award has already been decided, with Al Rayyan's striker Roger Guedes securing the honor after scoring 21 goals in the Doha Bank Stars League.
Winners of the non-voted categories, including Football for All, Best Refereeing Team, and Best Stand, will be announced at the awards ceremony on May 11.
