Doha: The Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) recently hosted 'QFC Connect,' a flagship networking event designed to foster direct connections among QFC firms, key partners, and national entities that drive Qatar's business growth. The event, themed 'Empowering Growth Through Collaboration,' aimed to bolster cooperation within the innovation and technology sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, QFC Connect welcomed over 400 participants, including representatives from Invest Qatar, Qatar Development Bank (QDB), the Qatar Research, Development and Innovation (QRDI) Council, and Qatar Manpower Solutions Co. (Jusour). The event featured tailored sessions focused on exploring growth opportunities, addressing shared challenges, and highlighting resources to facilitate business expansion across key markets.
QFC Connect is part of QFC's broader initiative to empower its growing community of firms through relationship-building, knowledge exchange, and a cohesive ecosystem. By bringing together companies and national partners, the event underscored a collective ambition to advance innovation, attract global talent, and create a competitive and future-ready business environment in Qatar.

QFC Connect complements the Centre's ongoing efforts to create a more enabling business environment in Qatar, from the inception of a company to its successful operation. QFC has introduced reforms to expedite business processes, including a streamlined incorporation process, instant licensing for non-regulated activities, and a 90 per cent reduction in application fees.
Recently, QFC launched its Platinum Onboarding Service, a fast-track solution that offers one-hour incorporation for companies seeking a rapid and premium setup experience. These initiatives aim to lower entry barriers, strengthen the business environment, and affirm QFC's dedication to helping global and local firms establish, grow, and succeed in Qatar.
