Doha: The Academic Bridge Program (ABP), part of Qatar Foundation's Pre-University Education, will host the Harvard Model Congress Middle East 2027 from 14 to 16 January 2027 at Education City, following the success of the inaugural Qatar edition held in 2026. Early registration is open until 15 August 2026, a press release said today.
According to Qatar News Agency, the 2027 conference will be held under the theme "Progress Under Pressure," challenging participants to take on the roles of policymakers and diplomats. The event will engage high school students in debates about today's most pressing global issues, encouraging them to develop innovative perspectives and practical solutions.
Organized by Harvard University, the conference offers an immersive learning experience in government, public policy, and international relations through legislative committee simulations, debates, and negotiations. Participants will also engage in workshops, seminars, and leadership activities, aimed at strengthening their leadership capabilities and enhancing their critical thinking and public speaking skills.
