QNA and CNA Sign Agreement to Enhance News Collaboration

Doha: Qatar News Agency (QNA) and Cyprus News Agency (CNA) signed an agreement to enhance cooperation between the two agencies in the field of news exchange and sharing experiences to serve their common goals. The agreement was signed by HE Director-General of QNA Ahmed bin Saeed Al Rumaihi and HE Chairman of CNA Andreas Frangos.

According to Qatar News Agency, the agreement covers several areas, including the exchange of news and media materials such as news items, reports, and bulletins in different news fields, as well as technical cooperation, particularly concerning the available methods of transmission and reception. The goal is to provide optimal services in the aforementioned areas.

In this context, HE Ahmed bin Saeed Al Rumaihi emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation with CNA, indicating that this agreement will mark the beginning of a strong partnership between the two agencies. It aims to open new horizons for collaboration in the fields of digital media and modern technologies, allowing both sides to exchange experiences and best practices.

HE Andreas Frangos commended the cooperation between the two agencies, highlighting that this agreement serves as a gateway not only for exchanging news but also for sharing experiences and knowledge between the two parties.

In an exclusive statement to QNA, HE Chairman of CNA mentioned that this cooperation affirms the shared values of both agencies in news work and opens up broader horizons for news cooperation, benefiting from QNA's expertise. During his visit to QNA's headquarters, HE Chairman of CNA was briefed on the agency's training center, which aims to develop media cadres and enhance their efficiency through specialized qualitative training programs.
