Beijing:Qatar News Agency (QNA) has joined a global media initiative aimed at developing standards for artificial intelligence (AI) applications in journalism. This participation marks QNA as one of the founding partners during the seventh World Media Summit in Beijing.

According to Qatar News Agency, the State of Qatar was represented at the summit by His Excellency QNA Director-General Ahmed bin Saeed Al Rumaihi. The summit was officially opened by Li Shulei, a member of the Political Bureau and head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee.
