Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 105.48 points, or 0.98%, at the start of Thursday's trading, down to 10,607 points, compared to yesterday's closing.
According to Qatar News Agency, the index was weighed down by a decline in all sectors: Telecoms by 0.34%, Insurance by 0.79%, Banks and Financial Services by 0.81%, Consumer Goods and Services by 1.02%, Real Estate by 1.15%, Transportation by 1.21%, and Industrials by 1.22%.
By 10:00 am, 53.110 million shares were traded in 4,583 transactions valued at QR 99.583 million.
