Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed slightly higher on Thursday, gaining 119.89 points, or 1.07 percent, to reach 11,336.59 points. During the session, a total of 135,436,821 shares were traded, with a value of QAR 627,665,644.999, through 32,118 transactions across all sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session witnessed the shares of 29 companies rising, while 17 companies saw a decline in their share prices, and 8 companies maintained their previous closing price. At the close of the trading session, the market capitalization increased to QAR 680,119,084,288.806, compared to QAR 672,922,313,887.466 recorded in the previous session.
