Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index saw a marginal decline in Wednesday's trading, closing 6.44 points, or 0.06 percent, lower to settle at 10,811.41 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session witnessed the exchange of 204,155,149 shares, with a total value of QAR 563,573,477.398. These transactions were conducted through 28,432 trades across various sectors in the market.
The session presented a mixed performance among companies, with 31 companies experiencing a rise in their share prices. In contrast, 15 companies recorded a decline, while six companies' share prices remained unchanged.
Market capitalization by the end of the session reached QAR 643,407,368,896.364, showing an increase from the previous session's QAR 640,581,306,479.130.
