Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index experienced a decline in Thursday's trading session, closing 86.85 points lower, marking a 0.81 percent drop to settle at 10,626.50 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the session saw a total of 205,251,398 shares being traded, amounting to a value of QAR 451,108,161.579. These transactions were executed across 24,208 trades spanning all sectors.
Out of the companies listed, shares of five firms rose, while 45 companies registered a decline in their share prices. Meanwhile, three companies maintained their previous closing prices.
The market capitalization at the close of the trading session was QAR 627,072,464,180.596, a decrease from the previous session's QAR 631,714,037,446.621.
