Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index rose 0.22% at the start of trading on Sunday, gaining 23.49 points to reach 10,900, compared to the previous session's close.
According to Qatar News Agency, market data showed gains in various sectors, with Real Estate rising by 0.63%, Industrials by 0.62%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.30%, Insurance by 0.29%, Telecoms by 0.27%, and Banks and Financial Services by 0.03%. A decline was observed in the Transportation sector, which fell by 0.22%.
By 10:00 am, QSE reported a turnover of QR 44.624 million from 24.235 million shares traded across 2,065 transactions.
