Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index experienced a rise of 0.40% at the start of Thursday's trading session. The index gained 38.64 points from the previous session's close, reaching a level of 9,789 points. This increase was supported by gains across all market sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, QSE data highlighted positive performances in several sectors. The Consumer Goods and Services sector saw an increase of 1.00%, while the Telecoms sector rose by 0.88%. Gains were also recorded in the Banks and Financial Services sector, which increased by 0.47%, and the Industrials sector, which saw a rise of 0.25%. Additionally, both the Transportation and Real Estate sectors experienced a growth of 0.15%, and the Insurance sector edged up by 0.07%.
As of 10:01 am, the market turnover was recorded at QR 55.040 million, with a total of 29.832 million shares being traded across 3,086 transactions.
