Post: QSE Index Opens Lower with Marginal Decline

Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index witnessed a very marginal decline, decreasing by 0.99 points, or 0.01%, at the start of Monday's trading, reaching 9732 points. According to Qatar News Agency, the market data showed positive performance in Banks and Financial Services with an increase of 0.13%, and Telecoms saw a slight uptick of 0.07%.

In contrast, the performance was negative across several sectors. Industrials and Insurance both experienced a decline of 0.03%, while Real Estate dropped by 0.27%. Transportation saw a decrease of 0.30%, and Consumer Goods and Services fell by 0.38%.

By 10:00 am, the turnover stood at QR 44.772 million, with 26.046 million shares traded in 2490 transactions, based on QSE data.
