Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed Sunday trading higher by 66.12 points, or 0.63 percent, to settle at 10,640.71 points. The session witnessed significant trading activity with a total of 214,337,659 shares being exchanged, amounting to a value of QAR 419,267,264.860, executed in 15,435 transactions across all sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a positive trend with shares of 36 companies registering a rise in their prices. On the other hand, 12 companies experienced a decline in their share prices, while four companies maintained their previous closing prices. The market capitalization at the close of the trading session was QAR 628,034,685,494.121, reflecting an increase compared to QAR 624,624,252,534.120 recorded in the previous session.
