Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) Index closed Monday's trading session with a rise of 8.61 points, or 0.09 percent, reaching 9,559.05 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session witnessed a total volume of 212,555,866 shares being exchanged. The turnover for the session amounted to QAR 457,363,074.729, facilitated through 25,807 transactions spanning all market sectors.
At the end of the session, 26 companies saw their share prices advance, while 24 experienced declines. Four companies' share prices remained unchanged from their previous closing figures.
The market capitalization at the close of trading was recorded at QAR 576,255,541,469.170, which marked a decrease from the previous session's QAR 576,389,171,369.346.
