Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) edged higher by 0.01% at the start of trading on Monday, adding 0.62 points to reach the level of 10,508 points, compared to yesterday's closing. According to Qatar News Agency, the index saw a rise in most sectors: Real Estate by 0.28%; Insurance by 0.19%; Telecoms by 0.07%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.06%; and Banks and Financial Services by 0.04%. On the other hand, Transportation fell by 0.02%, and Industrials fell by 0.06%. Around 10:00 am, 27.276 million shares were traded in 1,663 transactions valued at QR 49.472 million.
