Post: Recycling and Sustainability Conference 2026 Concludes with Emphasis on Innovation

Doha:The Ministry of Municipality concluded the two-day 6th Recycling and Sustainability Conference and Exhibition 2026, marked by significant participation from both local and international stakeholders, including government entities, companies, and experts in waste management and the circular economy.

According to Qatar News Agency, the event attracted 1,020 visitors from the 1,464 registrants and featured 127 exhibitors, 51 speakers, 6 embassies, and 16 school delegations representing 10 schools.

During the event, the Ministry recognized the winners of the 2026 "Best Home Garden" and "Best School Garden" competitions, aiming to promote greening efforts within the community and educational institutions. Lubaba Bint Al Harith Primary School for Girls, Hamza Bin Abdul Muttalib Preparatory School for Boys, and Ruqayya Preparatory School for Girls were awarded top honors in the school category.

The conference concluded with a focus on fostering public-private-community partnerships and the implementation of innovative technologies to support a sustainable circular economy, aligning with Qatar's vision for environmental protection and resource sustainability.
