Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense systems intercepted and shot down 134 Ukrainian drones over several regions.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry stated that its air defense systems destroyed 57 Ukrainian drones over the Crimean Peninsula, 18 over Krasnodar, 20 over the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, 14 over Oryol, eight over Lipetsk Oblast, four each over Bryansk, Kursk, and Tula, two each over Bryansk and Voronezh, and one over Rostov Oblast.
Russia and Ukraine continue to exchange announcements regarding losses suffered by the other side, without independent confirmation of these reports, as the war between the two countries has been ongoing since February 24, 2022.
