Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed today with his Kuwaiti counterpart Abdullah Al Yahya in Moscow, ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries. During a joint meeting, the two sides discussed the latest regional and international developments and the rapid developments witnessed in the region, most notably the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and the dangerous escalation in the Gaza Strip, in addition to the Israeli military aggression on Lebanon. In a related context, the two sides also reviewed ways to support joint international efforts to stop the escalation and ensure that the circle of conflict does not expand, stressing their commitment to enhancing stability and security in the region and the world.
