Moscow: The Russian Defense Ministry announced that its air defense systems destroyed 15 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory last night.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Russian Defense Ministry stated, "Ukrainian attempts to carry out drone attacks on Russian targets were stopped last night."
The ministry further detailed the incident, saying, "The air defense systems on duty destroyed 15 Ukrainian drones, 7 UAVs over the Kuban region, three over the Bryansk region, two over the Rostov region, one over the Belgorod region, one over the Kursk region, and one over the Crimean peninsula."
Russia and Ukraine almost daily announce the downing of some drones, but these claims cannot be confirmed due to the circumstances of the ongoing war since February 2022.
