Doha:Saudi Arabia's benchmark stock index climbed on Sunday, closing 82.96 points higher at 10,681.84, with trading reaching a value of SR 2.4 billion.
According to Qatar News Agency, 141 million shares were exchanged during the session. Out of the companies listed, 160 experienced a rise in their share prices, while 98 saw a decline.
The parallel Saudi stock market index, Nomu, also ended on a positive note, increasing by 16.97 points to close at 21,549.21. The trading volume on Nomu reached over 2.5 million shares, valued at SR 16 million.
