Riyadh: The Saudi Stock Exchange's main index ended on a positive note, closing higher with a gain of 28.77 points to settle at 10,954.46 points. The total value of transactions amounted to SAR 5 billion.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session witnessed a volume of 261 million shares being exchanged. Out of the companies listed, 170 experienced an increase in their share prices, whereas 90 companies saw their prices fall.
In contrast, the Saudi Parallel Market (Nomu) index experienced a slight decline, dropping 1.32 points to conclude at 21,571.86 points. The trading value on the Nomu index was SAR 15 million, with a total volume of 2.6 million shares traded.
