Doha:Scale AI has signed an agreement with the United Development Company (UDC) to establish a long-term presence at UDC Tower on The Pearl Island in Doha. This move marks an expansion of Scale AI's operations in Qatar.
According to Qatar News Agency, the agreement was formalized by UDC President and CEO, Yasser Salah Al Jaidah, and Amr Samir, Qatar Country Lead at Scale AI, during a ceremony at UDC's pavilion in Cityscape Qatar 2026 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.
Scale AI specializes in providing high-quality data that supports the development of AI models used by enterprises and governments. Yasser Salah Al Jaidah noted that Scale Qatar's new location at UDC Tower highlights The Pearl Island's attractiveness as a business destination and its potential to draw companies that enhance Qatar's business environment and innovation landscape.
Amr Samir emphasized the importance of AI in Qatar's future, pointing out the country's leadership in integrating AI into its institutions. He expressed gratitude for the trust placed in Scale AI by the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), reaffirming the company's commitment to contributing to Qatar's AI vision.
