Jerusalem: Settlers stormed Wednesday Al-Aqsa Mosque compound amid tight security measures by Israeli occupation forces.
According to Qatar News Agency, dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed provocative Talmudic rituals in its courtyards. The report added that the occupation police transformed the Old City of occupied Jerusalem into a military barracks, with hundreds of police officers deployed at close quarters, especially at the gates of Al-Aqsa. They tightened their military measures at the gates of the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque, and imposed restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshippers.
Since the start of the comprehensive Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank in October 2023, the occupation forces have tightened their security measures at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the entrances to the Old City.
